If Only She'd Known

My mother was an ardent seamstress who, in a couple of different phases of her life, taught sewing classes.  She was not a designer,  had no great fashion sense but she could follow a pattern and make nice, endurable things.

I unearthed this treasure while cleaning out my parents' house. Little did my mother know that she could have outfitted a couple of our current, oddly blonde, female politicians of a certain age. Certainly these two were wearing similar clothing back when my mother was sewing so furiously.
