'Roistering' as Opposed to 'Little People Wrestling'

Mr. SiS and I like to read when we go on vacation.  The certain place we haunt is stocked with oodles of fiction: mass market paperbacks that no one cries over if they're spent by the sand and saltwater.   Mr. SiS reads a lot more of this than I do and occasionally comes across something that is well, hmm, how should one say?  Odd? Strikingly ridiculous?  Utterly fantastical?  Wishful thinking?   He will then read it aloud to me.  We have great laughter over such things. Rollicking laughter.  In the days (and sometimes years) after, there will be reference after reference made to said passage.
Some time ago in our little hideaway, he came across this passage from a living author.  I shall supply name and book title at a later time (do not want to come into trouble with copyrights and so forth).
I was sort of wondering where she'd fit on the hot/crazy graph.  I think you guys can help.  Joan's input would be welcome as well.

"Sunlight was made for Samantha.  She wore it like a cloak that had been woven especially for her.  She wore it in her hair, sparkling like jewelry, she used it to paint her face and body in lustrous shades of burnt honey and polished amber, she wore it glowing in golden freckles on her cheeks and nose.
"She moved in sunlight with wondrous grace, barefooted in the white sand, so that her hips and buttocks roistered brazenly under the thin green stuff of her bikini.
"She sprawled in the sunlight like a sleeping cat offering her face and naked belly to it, so he felt that if he laid his hands against her throat he would feel her purr deep inside her throat.
