Acer Negundo (read: Flora Racoonicus)

This most hated villain, El Jefe de pests, is the most despicable, indestructible and malicious nuisance known to man. Dear Treebeard, we've found the Entwives - they was treenapped by Sauron and Orced. It grows anywhere, quick and crooked. It grows sideways, sometimes even downways. Its wood is weak so it routinely collapses under its own weight. It's roots start about 6' down, so its stumps require extreme measures (e.g. dyniemite).  Once it collapses, those multiple trunks with beaucoup branches store megajoules of potential energy - so the lumberjacking (Baybay!!) is a life threatening affair; a dark will drives the downed tree toward homicide. Yet, Teh Humungus is locked into eternal warfare against the boxelder and its twisted and less malignant sister, the Sumac, and its lapdog servant, the strangler vine. Damn them. Damn them all to hell.

It even has its own brand of insect varmint, yes, the boxelder beetle, which find your home and migrate to the sunniest window (inside and outside) in swarms.
