Granny Get Your Gun

We were out in the country for V-E day, which is a holiday over here, doing some plinking in the backyard, pitting my new airsoft pistol against a competition class pellet gun (no contest, natch). It was such a hoot that my 97 year old aunt opted to squeeze off a couple rounds. Seen here leaning on a cane and on my bro-in-law to steady her aim. You go girl!

FYI, the airsoft pistol shoots consistently with (more or less) decent accuracy up to 15 meters, but take three steps backwards from that and it's basically hit-or-miss. The pellet gun is pinpoint accurate at twice that distance, of course, but it will turn plastic psychoanalyst and nihilist action figures to dust and shrapnel, so things get expensive real fast.
