Houseguest

Teh Lord and Lady Humungus (Humungi?) are being visited. Since Teh Lord of the Manor has become a shut in and we* have a friend in need, your humble narrator will be babysitting. Said friend is part of some network dedicated to rescuing dogs; she's been called out of town for a bit, so.....look who's coming:

Atright, a 5 month old female pit bull.

Now, The Humungus knows when he's the mark for the long con, and oh dear reader, he knows that this dog ain't going back to foster care. He doesn't yet know what the score is on the long con (the puppy is just the first step), but, well, we loves a good caper.
