Game of Thrones
Well, in addition to binge watching "Lost", The Humungus has been binge reading "Game of Thrones". Jeepers H. Cats on a crapper, what a waste of time.
Now, like a bonehead, he didn't do the research. This 5 book set is not the end. Oh no, dear reader, there are at least 2 more books "in development".
The Humungus had watched 2 seasons of the show on HBO and went into the books thinking - OK, the gratuitous grunting sex, incest and cruelty/violence are HBO trademarks; but there's a good story back there, let's see what the written version is like. Imagine his surprise to learn that the books are pretty much a screenplay and HBO censored a lot of the worst material out. And the stupid shock words (cocksure, contortionist, 4k); The Humungus is no prude, but c'mon.
So, in summary: pointless, endless, violent, foul must don't read. It's a shame, too....it had potential.
