I love this town.You just never see this level of dedication to national holiday decoration in France. Too busy planning their next massive, paralyzing, countrywide strike, I suppose. Whatevs.

The bunting is nice (and well within the parameters for proper flag etiquette [see earlier post]), but painting an entire Victorian--trim and all--red white and blue? Now that's crayzee, (borderline autistic), even if the red is burgundy, the white buttercream and the blue teal. Bernie voters.

On an unrelated personal note, there's no need for the Bucket 'O Doom in this household. Nor a cat, for that matter. Not when we've got Chiquita the rodent slayer. You go Grrrrrl!
